Audi Camp is situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River, 12km from Maun on the Shorobe Road towards the Moremi Game Reserve. We have 4 luxury en-suite tents on raised wooden decking overlooking the river, a house with four rooms, 10 beds, kitchen, shower, bath and toilet, 10 mini-meru tents with two single beds, linen, electricity, fan and bedside light. We also offer 8 large dome tents with two camping beds and mattresses, (bedding sets can be rented from the camp). The camp provides a large shaded camping area for those of you with your own equipment, power points sites available on request. The camp is fenced, has security lights and a watchman patrolling at night
The Camp offers camping, tented accommodation and en suite tents. We have an a la carte restaurant, bar and pool. We also cater for a wide variety of activities in and around the Okavango Delta including cultural and community based trips
Botswana Safari Options
We run safaris through Botswana's National Parks the Kalahari and the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. From Audi Camp we can help you plan your Botswana experience either with ourselves or, if we cannot accommodate you, with other operators. We offer mobile safaris, mokoro trips, motor boat excursions, lodge safaris and fly in trips. We cater for a wide variety of tastes from the more basic adventure safari to the comfortable bed and shower (camping) safari.

Audi Camp is 12 kilometres north of Maun, on the road toward the Moremi Game Reserve, located on the banks of the Thamalakane river – the southern most tributary of the Okavango Delta. We have luxury en-suite tents on raised wooden decking over looking the river, mini-meru tents with beds, lights their own fire places and cooking area. Large dome tents with stretcher beds. We also have many shaded camping areas and some of the sites have power points.
We have a bar and a la carte restaurant.

Drive-in Mokoro Trips - 2009

Audi Camp has collaborated with a number of communities in and around the delta to provide mekoro tours. The Ba Yei people came to the Okavango Delta hundreds of years ago, bringing with them their traditional mode of transport, the mokoro. The mokoro is a dug-out canoe made from a large straight tree such as a sausage tree or an ebony tree.
These mokoro trips are led and arranged by the Morutsa/Ditsipi village guide/polers. The guide/poler will be with you for the duration of your stay in the delta – activities will be mokoro excursions and bush walks. You will bush camp on one of the islands in the delta, there are no facilities available here,(no flush toilets or showers). Early in the year the water levels in this area are very low until the new floods arrive in July/August – during these summer months you can expect to spend a very limited time on the mokoros, and due to the heat, activities will be limited to the early mornings and late afternoons.
Audi Camp offers the Drive-in mokoro trip as two options, self-catering and catered.
For self-catering you will need your own camping equipment and food. The catered option you just need to bring yourself! Audi Camp will supply all equipment and food needed as well as an assistant to prepare all you meals, do the washing up and help with the setting up of camp
Mobile Safaris
Moremi Game Reserve - 2009
Moremi Game Reserve is situated in the Okavango Delta, comprising of permanent and seasonally swamped areas and dry land. It is a very beautiful region with lagoons, pools and rivers. Wide grasslands, cool tall Mopane forests, lush riverine woodlands and acacia savanna provide a home for an enormous variety of wildlife.
For the best game viewing Audi Camp uses 101 Land Rover vehicles, the ultimate safari vehicle with open-sides and great height to see further into the bush and broaden the safari experience.
Where possible we use HATAB sites for camping, these sites are private to your group and are set out in the bush amongst the animals, they are not fenced.
