Eagle Island is located in the busy and less than perfect Gunn's Concession in the southeast of the Okavango Delta.
This is one of three lodges in Botswana which are owned and operated by Orient Express. All three camps could be described as 'suburban luxury', with minibars, phones and aircon in the tents.
Eagle Island is really not our kind of thing at all and we are yet to encounter an occasion where we would recommend it to our guests

raised wooden decks overlooking the Xaxaba Lagoon.
