TitleIntoduction1 Moremi Crossing is a new 16-tented camp currently being built. It is set on a palm-fringed island surrounded by the Moremi's game-rich seasonal floodplains and overlooking Chief's Island. Moremi Crossing will be a new style safari camp combining luxury with a classic Okavango experience.
Time slows down at Moremi Crossing . . . . . . as here, guests experience the Okavango and its game from a very different perspective; slower, closer and in more detail, whether on foot, being poled silently by mokoro through the Delta’s waterways, or on secluded island sleep-outs in the Moremi (Chief's Island). Since January, in readiness for the July opening, carefully selected professional guides and polers have benefitted from further training on orientation and game-walking programmes, thus ensuring that Moremi Crossing will offer its guests a unique, personalised wildlife and Okavango experience.
