Title
Intoduction
Seba Camp is an exciting new retreat in the Okavango Delta, offering luxurious childfriendly facilities as well as an opportunity to participate in one of the most fascinating
elephant research projects in Africa.
Set in an ancient riverine forest with magnificent trees, Seba has five well-appointed
tents, each with its own secluded surrounds and private deck and sumptuous ensuite bedrooms. The main tent is designed for a family with two interleading double
bedrooms, both en suite, a built-in “tree-house”for the youngsters and a private deck
with its own private pool and sand-pit.
The camp is named after Seba, a young bull rescued from a culling operation to become
one of the riding herd at nearby Abu Camp, home of elephant-back safaris. Researchers
from Bristol University in the UK are based at Seba Camp to study the interaction
between the Abu herd and the wild elephants occurring here. They are happy to share
their knowledge and encounters with guests. Experienced guides conduct game drives,
night and day, fishing expeditions and mokoro rides on the numerous waterways.
