Savuti Camp Description

Vumbura Plains Camp is divided into two smaller camps each comprising 14 beds, as follows:

Vumbura Plains South

• 6 x twin bedded tents

• 1 x honeymoon tent

• 1 x twin guide room (not the same standard as a guest room)

Vumbura Plains North

• 4 x twin bedded tents

• 1 x honeymoon tent

• 2 x family tents – accommodates four guests

• 1 x twin guide room (not the same standard as a guest room)

6 of the twin beds at both Vumbura Plains North and South can be converted into king-sized beds on request.

Accommodation

Game Viewing

Type - 50% game drives; 50% water activities (depending on flood levels)

• Game drives via 3 x 10-seater open 4x4 Land Rovers each accommodating a maximum of 6 or 7 guests, allowing all guests an outside seat.
• Walks can be arranged on nearby islands (on request basis only)
• Mokoro (a traditional dug-out canoe) excursions in 4 x 2-seater mokoro
• One power boat seating 8 guests
