As well as experiencing one of the world’s natural wonders – the awe- inspiring Victoria Falls – this exciting route takes the time to explore the changing areas, stunning beauty and continually moving game of northern Botswana: from a boat cruise on the spectacular Chobe River, to the seasonal elephant herds of the water-blessed Linyanti concession, and camping and walking on islands in that jewel of the Kalahari, the Okavango Delta. This seamless safari follows the fault lines of northern Botswana, covering these unique and wild areas from the air, by vehicle and in mokoro, ensuring a close connection with nature and spectacular game viewing
FEATURES OF THIS EXPLORATION
This Exploration combines private concessions both within and outside National Parks and game reserves. Private wilderness areas within Okavango Delta, southern Selinda, Linyanti and northern
savannah explored. Eight-night serviced adventurer camping in en-suite dome tents in three prime areas ensures holistic guiding and detailed insights into habitats and game movements in the area.
Exceptionally diverse range of activities: walks, day and night wildlife viewing, both water- and land-based. Specifi c focus on cross-country and air transfers to showcase the vast wilderness and its
denizens. Additional features include off-road access to high-profi le sightings (in private areas), island walking in Moremi Game Reserve, hammock lunch, excursion through the Savute Channel within
the Linyanti (game dependent), and Chobe River lunch cruise
BRIEF ITINERARY:
Day 1: Chundukwa River Lodge, south-western Zambia
Days 2, 3 & 4: Chobe River boat cruise and fly to Linyanti Adventurer Camp, Linyanti/ Chobe
Days 5 & 6: Game drive transfer to Lechwe Island Camp, Selinda Spillway
Days 7, 8 & 9: Fly to Xigera Mokoro Trails, Okavango Delta Day 10: Air transfer to Maun Airport
