Mudumu National Park Caprivi Namibia
found in eastern Caprivi with the Kwando river at its western border,
Mudumu is an expanse of dense savannah and mopan woodlands

otter, hippo and crocs in the waterways.

Location
Proclaimed in 1990, Mudumu is located in
the eastern
Caprivi, bordered by the Kwando river
Geography
The Mudumu National Park is 1 010 sq. kms
of dense savannah, riverine forests and mopane woodlands.
South of Lianshulu the river breaks up into a maze of channels
to form the Linyanti swamp

The many waterways of the Kwando are best explored by boat, but
for a close encounter with nature you can
also go on a hiking tour
