Possibly the most famous is the Fish River which flows from central Namibia to join with the Orange at Namibia’s southern border.
The Caprivi strip now known as the Zambezi region is surrounded by the Chobe, Kwando, Linyanti and Zambezi rivers.
This riverine paradise is well known for is excellent fishing and birding (with over 600 species) and houses four national parks.
There have been over 130 recorded species of fish in the Zambezi river, of which 96 species can be found in the upper Zambezi.
